Ministry CommitmentEvery believer has been called to ministry and has God-given spiritual gifts, talents, interests, and life experiences. The MPC asks that you assess your gifts and abilities and determine how you might best use these in service on a church committee or team. Serving is one of the ways that we can express our love and thanks for all the things God has done for us. In addition, it is a great way to meet people and become connected with others who share your particular interests. Serving will also make your church feel like a place where you belong. And finally, by serving, we will find ourselves changing to become more Christ-like.
First, pray for God's leadership. Also, consult the "Purpose, Duties and Organization" (PDO) statements of all standing committees, teams, and officers found on the church website at www.brookwood.org/pdo.
