Medical Apartments Ministry (Caring Hands)

Directed by the Birmingham Baptist Association, the "Caring Hands" Medical Apartment Ministry meets the needs of people who are experiencing a medical crisis in their life. Located at three hospitals (UAB, Trinity Medical Center, and BMC Princeton), the apartments are available to family members (from outside the greater Birmingham area) of patients with long-term stays in local medical facilities. Linn Park Ministry to the Homeless

Brookwood currently participates on the second Friday night of each month, partnering with Harvest Community Church, Dawson Memorial Baptist, and Oak Mountain Presbyterian. Discovery Clubs

Birmingham, AL
Ongoing Mission

Discovery Clubs take free, after-school Bible clubs to second through fifth grade children on public school campuses--a modern-day mission field. This fun-filled hour consists of a snack, Bible lesson, memory verses, praise and worship through singing, dancing, crafts, small group prayer, and mentoring time. Local churches sponsor these clubs through prayer, financial contributions, and volunteer support. Discovery Clubs meet in schools throughout the B'ham area one hour a week for 23 weeks.
