Senior Adult Ministry

Brookwood has a dynamic SENIOR ADULT MINISTRY known as the M&Ms: MATURE & MARVELOUS, under the direction of Joyce Fields, Minister of Pastoral Care and Senior Adults.

The SENIOR ADULT MINISTRY TEAM also provides leadership to the group. The members of the council are:

Sunday School

There are four senior adult classes at Brookwood that meet at 9:45 a.m. Bill and Vivian Bolen serve as directors of the Sunday School department. The classes are listed below:

Fellowship Events and Trips

The Senior Adult Ministry of Brookwood offers lots of fellowship opportunities. At least once a quarter, they enjoy a fellowship dinner and special guest speaker or entertainment. They also participate in day trips and extended excursions. To name a few, they have gone to Colonial Williamsburg, San Antonio (TX), the Warner Museum in Tuscaloosa, the Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Charleston (SC), and saw a performance of To Kill a Mockingbird at the famed Courthouse in Monroeville, AL.
